Kuala Lumpur, Islamic Arts Museum

Posted 1 year ago by avatar fhonny in response to adonis's question: Could someone recommend me an art museum in Kuala Lumpur? (give a different answer) .

Located on Jalan Lembah Perdana, near Lake Gardens, the Islamic Arts Museum houses a fascinating collection of textiles, metalwork and ancient Korans, scale models of famous mosques. You should really go there and see the calligraphic section, which includes handwritten sections of the Koran, some dating back a thousand years, and many of them intricate and beautiful. The Museum is opened Tues-Sun from10 am-6 pm, entry fee is about 8 RM.
