eduardo in response to jiro's question:
Some details on traveling around Kuala Lumpur? Buses, metro?(give a different answer) .
KL city buses run from 6 am to midnight. Costs range from 90 sen on the larger, Intrakota buses, to 60 sen on the privately run City Liner ones. Fares go up to above RM 2 depending on the length of the journey; for example, you'll be paying RM 2.20 to go to the Batu Caves at 13 km outside KL. If the bus has no conductor, you'll need the exact change. The main bus terminals are Central Market, the Jalan Sultan Mohammed bus station, 100m south of the market, and Lebuh Ampang, on the northern edge of Chinatown.
