Kuala Lumpur, traveling around

Posted 1 year ago by avatar eduardo in response to said's question: How can you travel around Kuala Lumpur? Buses, metro, train? (give a different answer) .

The Komuter train is of limited use in central city, but is useful for sights outside the city. There are two lines - one from Rawang to Seremban (for Nilai), the other from Sentul to Port Klang (for Sumatra). Both connect at the central KL stations of Putra, Bank Negara and Kuala Lumpur Railway Station. Trains run at least every 30min and tickets start at RM1; a RM5 day ticket (valid Mon-Fri after 9.30am) allows unlimited travel. The KL Monorail is a elevated single track train that runs every 15 min from 6 am to midnight between China Town and the northern areas of Bukit Bintang and Chow Kit. Fares are RM 1.20 to RM 2.10.
