What sights to visit in Kuching?(give a different answer) .
I think this ethnographic museum is the highlight in Kuching, at least for tourists. You have to learn a little bit about the history, culture and traditions of the places you visit, in this case I learnt about Sarawak's indigenous people. They have on display ornate totem poles, wedding costumes, masks the tribes wear during special ceremonies, tatoo designs, ceramics and full-size replica of a traditional community house. The museum has a website, www.museum.sarawak.gov.my, if you want to find out more and it is located on Jl Tun Abang Haji Openg. Admission is free for everyone and visitation hours are between 9am to 5:30pm.
