Penang, Eating at Esplanade Food Centre

The best place would definitely be the Esplanade Food Centre located on Jl Tun Syed Sheh Barakbah. I had my most dinners here as it is opened only i the evening. It serves tasty Malay fare among which: laksa and the coloured bowls of ABC dessert. Must try "pasembur", it's a vegetable and fish salad with sweet and spicy gravy. This food centre also includes one Chinese restaurant-like section where you can have your refreshing beer. Prices for meals vary from 3 to 6 RM.
