Traveling around Penang

If you want to take a taxi you will have to bargain for the right fare, a taxi route around town is between 3 to 6 RM and special routes include Batu Ferringhi which is 15 RM and Penang Hill which is 10 Rm. The bicycle rickshaws cost 1RM per kilometer, but then again, you have to negotiate the price before getting on. If you want a tour of the city the rate is 25 RM per hour.
