Even though the island, on the northeast coast of Borneo, isn't much of a treasure, the waters are offering great opportunities. Scuba divers will enjoy wall diving with a drop of 2,800 feet inside an abyss, while even snorkeling newcomers won't have any difficulty due to the clear waters. The turtle population is among the richest in the world, contributing to Jack Cousteau's remark about the island: "we found again an untouched piece of art".
